This accessibility statement applies to the web pages published by the Central Customs Authority (GZD) under the www.zoll.de domain.
As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we strive to make our website accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Equal Opportunities for Disabled Persons Act (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetzes des Bundes - BGG) and the Ordinance for creating barrier-free information technology (Barrierefreien-Informationstechnik-Verordnung - BITV 2.0) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
Fulfilment of compliance requirements
Accessibility requirements are derived from section 3(1) to (4) and section 4 BITV 2.0, which was enacted on the basis of section 12d BGG.
The Federal Monitoring Agency for Accessibility of Information Technology (Überwachungsstelle des Bundes für Barrierefreiheit von Informationstechnik - BFIT-Bund) subjected the website www.zoll.de to a simplified audit in January 2021 pursuant to section 12c of the Equal Opportunities for Disabled Persons Act (Bundesbehindertengleichstellungsgesetz - BGG). This included the verification of digital documents (files for download).
The identified incompatibilities will be resolved step by step.
The PDF documents currently marked as "not accessible" on www.zoll.de will be successively replaced by accessible documents or supplemented by accessible alternative versions.

Arbitration
If no satisfactory solution has been found even after you provided feedback to the above-mentioned contact, you can turn to the Arbitration Service pursuant to section 16 BGG. The Arbitration Service has the task of providing support to settle disputes by extrajudicial means in the event of conflicts on the subject of accessibility between persons with disabilities and federal public authorities.
An arbitration procedure is free of charge. There is no need to have a legal counsel involved.
