Conditions of employment as laid down in collective bargaining agreements and legal provisions

The following list shows the minimum statutory wages which result from collective bargaining agreements that have been declared generally applicable under the Posted Workers Act (Arbeitnehmer-Entsendegesetz - AentG) and the Act on the Provision of Temporary Workers (Arbeitnehmerüberlassungsgesetz - AÜG).

*Requirements for workers' accommodation, when provided by the employer for workers who are assigned away from their regular workplace

**Allowances or reimbursement of expenses to cover travel, board and lodging costs for workers who are away from their place of residence (employer based in the home country) or regular workplace in the home country (employer based abroad) on account of occupational reasons. This does not apply to costs incurred as a result of the posting from the usual workplace abroad (e.g. for arrival/departure, accommodation).

***The minimum wage of 12.30 euros stipulated in Section 2 No. 2 of the nationwide collective agreement regulating the minimum conditions for employees in the meat industry in the Federal Republic of Germany will be overridden by the general minimum wage of 12.41 euros in the period from 1 January 2024 to 30 November 2024 on the basis of Section 1 (3) of the Minimum Wage Act. Otherwise, the provisions of the collective agreement apply.
